Amazon boasts Alexa-activated Prime Air drone delivery in Super Bowl ad

with a surprise visit from one of its delivery drones. If you’re in need of some more chips for the big game, apparently, asking Alexa to “reorder Doritos from Prime Air” will do the trick. “Okay, look for delivery soon,” Alexa replied.

Sadly, the ad’s fine print reminded us that “Prime Air is not available in some states (or any really).” On a brighter note, Amazon made its first drone delivery to UK-based customers late last year, in fact, using the same style quadcopter touted in the Super Bowl ad. The company expects dozens of more customers to participate in the program later this year.
