Autonomous Taxis In Singapore

The “driverless race” is here. Tech giants like Google, Uber, and Tesla are in a race against each other to rollout the first autonomous cars across major cities. nuTonomy, a smaller spinout from MIT, is working on doing the same but for Singapore. The startup is working on bringing a fleet of autonomous taxis to the area for a convenient way of public transportation while at the same time lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
