The autonomous drone startup Lily just opened their beta testers program to the public. According to a recent blog post, the startup has had more than enough product testing in the Bay Area, but they’re looking to expand the testing grounds to the “rest of the Lily Community worldwide.”

The goal of the Lily Beta Program is for Lily to gain hands-on experience in environments that it’s not used to: cold mountainous regions, hot desserts, windy prairies, and densely packed cities (I wouldn’t advice the last one). Testing, as stated by Lily, is time consuming. They’re looking for those who can carve time from their daily life to help make Lily the best it can be.

If you’re interested in joining the beta program, you can join by filling out the online form. It’ll ask you about how much time you can commit, what you’re interested in using the drone for, and how frequent you’ll be able to contact the team for feedback. Lily will notify you by email if you’re a fit.

Lily is an autonomous drone that you toss into the air to record whatever you’re doing, and it launches to pre-order customers this year.
